Can't believe how much work it must be to develope cars. And then the rate they change models!

The engine bay will be gravy compared to that rats nest.

What happened with all these missing/loose screws etc. is the auction people pulled it apart to see the damage and then put it back together as best they could (also possibly on a Friday) to make it look the least damaged possible so it gets bid up more, and they earn more on commission. Then the damage is only discovered way later after the car is out of their hands. Classic car auction scam, especially with these expensive cars. :(

The McLaren seems to be built cheaply, almost plastic fantastic, not impressed! A fast motor and carbon fiber tub plus some performance goodies doesn't justify the exorbitant price. So McLaren your build quality sucks by what i can see from this tear down.

That loom is a nightmare...hope you have taken lots of photos. The looms are kept in heated containers before being fitted so that they will move and bend easier when fitting 😳

There's a perfect reason for the outer body panels to be fiber glass: crash safety

Man, remember when you asked the fans what to do with the the McLaren body or shell. I was thinking that you could build a rock bouncer or crawler, exoskeleton the McLaren shell (to kind of protect it), and custom cage inside the McLaren shell (for your protection). Custom tube front and rear frames, full size built axles or better yet built steerable axles. Use an LS motor for your power plant. I don't know, I was just thinking might be a good project for you and your brothers, good luck with the McLaren I will be enjoying every video. Take care and have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Any car, no matter how performance savvy, having so many screws, bolts with such intense engineering has to be the most stupidest car in the world. People buying it, well they have more money then sense.
